Today, another single, “Downstream,” is released from my upcoming Mansions In The Sea album, “Gloom Folklore”—and I think the album title is quite fitting. The song is like a quiet journey through vast landscapes of beauty and decay, carried by deep vocals and melancholic acoustic indie-folk sounds. Romantic and wistful at the same time. Unhurried and comforting. One of the songs where I’ve come quite close to realizing my vision for Mansions In The Sea. As always, I’d be delighted if everyone gives it a listen on the usual download and streaming platforms, orders the CD from the Winter Solitude shop, and ideally leaves a nice comment about the artist’s motivation 🙂
